2008: The year in review…

Happy New Year everybody! Just thought we’d take this opportunity to reflect on 2008 by the numbers. It’s been a great and interesting year. A few highlights…

35,400 – miles we’ve traveled over the past year!
3 – different vehicles we’ve owned this year (silver streak, moby dick and now our beloved Rev!)
54 – length in feet of our current rig (37 ft RV plus a 14 foot trailer w/ some space in between. Look out!)
7 – size of our entourage this fall:-) (Josh, Gavin and Dave were the best crew ever! making life enjoyable).
29 – number of states we visited on tour in 2008
1 – number of vehicles we totaled in head on collisions w/ semi-trucks (not kidding, Craig slept through the whole thing… no he wasn’t driving:-)
5 – new tracks on our EP that came out this Fall! (download em today on iTunes or www.agsilver.com/webstore)
10 – temperature in degrees the day of our show in Anchorage, Alaska
30 – age in days of the pizza we found when cleaning out the RV stove at the end of the tour
15,000 – amount of people in Africa who will have a year’s worth of clean water as a result of the generosity of our fans (www.agsilver.com/cleanwater and www.bloodwatermission.org)
264 – amount, in dollars, to fill up our RV in September
99 – amount, in dollars, to fill up our RV at the end of November
0 – number of satisfied customers from our trip to Muchas Gracias Mexican Restaurant
24 – number of people at our first show in Oregon in 2007
360 – number of people at our second show in Oregon in 2008
95330 – zip code of the worst RV Park in the country (threatened to charge us double because josh sat at the wrong picnic table while drinking his morning coffee)
95548 – zip code of the best RV Park in the country (we literally got out of the RV and immediately saw a bald eagle swoop down in the river and catch a fish)

0 – number of times Jon used the yoga mat he brought on tour
68 – approximate number of times Craig took a nap in the RV
54 – approximate number of Frappuccinos that Aaron opened and drank

63 – the approximate number of, um, “targets” Chris hit w/ rotten fruit on the highway
